Description
An estimated 10-17% of the entire population experiences the symptom tinnitus, yet tinnitus patients are often told nothing can be done for them, they “should just get used to it.” We can do much better than that. Tinnitus can be caused by an underlying hearing loss or another treatable condition, when severe enough, it can motivate people to suicide. You can help more of these patients with this integrative framework for allopathic and alternative healthcare providers designed to problem solve non-pulsatile tinnitus, its underlying causes and contributors, and best practices for where and when to refer.
